The House’s online-exclusive interpretation arrives in vertical matelassé leather, deliberately worn to create a finish that feels less pristine and infinitely more personal. Black leather forms the foundation, interrupted by Gucci’s green and red Web—a flash of colour that immediately recalls the codes of the House.

At its centre, the Double G hardware feels almost like jewellery. Its duo-finished treatment is echoed by the chain strap, bringing a harder metallic element to the softness of the leather.
There is something particularly relevant about its imperfection. Fashion’s relationship with newness is changing; the most interesting luxury pieces no longer need to appear untouched. Texture, character and the suggestion of age have become desirable in their own right.
The GG Marmont understands this beautifully. Recognisable without feeling predictable, it carries the confidence of an established icon while embracing the attitude of something rediscovered.
