Malan Breton AW

Malan Breton presented their Autumn/Winter 2017 collection in a very striking manner.

The collection titled Fantome paid homage to Charles (Charlie) Chapman and his work in the 1930s, giving very reminiscent feels to the audience during the show.

The collection included intricate silk fabrics, cashmere, angora, imperial prints, brocade embellishments, velvet fabric with ornamentation and the solid presence of the colour black, which balanced out with the impeccable design details. Malan Breton included British heritage tailoring by pairing structured shirts with mighty trousers and the iconic bowler hat.

The Fantome collection also incorporated floor length sheer dresses with heavy sequins, body fitted dresses that had been laser cut revealing the body and velvet suits showing off an extremely empowered woman.

As a collective it’s more than safe to say each look kept the audience drawn in putting on two shows joint so beautifully, making a very unforgettable and honorable show.
