On the 27th of November an exclusive dinner was held in the heart of New York City at The Lobster Club, hosted by Peter Marino this art infused Japanese brasserie was a perfect choice for the celebration of Julia’s latest collection for La Perla. The intimate event displayed the most recent work by Julia Haart, who was appointed creative director earlier this year.
Along side the runway style presentation of this seasons collection was cocktails and a dinner. Wearing a semi sheer, plunge neckline lace jumpsuit Julia was joined by the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Joanne Hillman, Glenda Bailey and more to celebrate her new collection.
Eye-catching catwalk looks where displayed at the lobster club with micro minis, jumpsuits in lots of mosaic details. Another style by Julia this season was the interesting use of hearts found throughout the collection displayed discreetly in lace. The collection was easy to wear showing a variety of looks, which can be worn in numerous occasions.
One of Julia’s passions that have been translated into this seasons looks is the need for a woman to feel sexy and comfortable in the clothing she wears. Julia Haart expresses her ambition to rid the suffering of beauty and wanting her customers to not have to think about their outfit once it is on.
One thing that some women can relate to is there is no beauty with out pain when it comes to fashion and appearances. Julias designs addresses women’s struggles in this area by creating clothes that are beautiful and comfortable. Gwyneth Paltrow wears a wide leg trouser suit which has a built in bra, so say good bye to boob tape this season!
