Jean Pierre Braganza SS15

Architectural strength and elegant power come to mind when re-living the show real of Canadian designer Jean Pierre Braganza.

His SS15 collection was a celebration of impeccable tailoring, sharp lines and the female form, combining motorcycle print on silk, strokes of velvet and a strong palette of black, white and taupe.

The designer has incorporated his ability to successfully mix structure and drape to create a magnificent body of work, suitable for any woman who knows who she is, and what she wants.

Creative layering, embellished shoulders and discrete fringing were a minimal but exciting touch, that propelled the looks to the next level. Finding the balance for adornments can be a tough challenge, but Braganza excelled, keeping these additions to a sophisticated measure.

The industrial influences shine through in concrete, almost autumnal shades, making this collection perfect for transitional dressing, yet the cuts and light fabrics keep it in line with the coming milder months, with short hem lines and relaxed jackets.

Simple, yet chaotic, this collection screams perfection. This is power dressing, and it’s here to stay.
